We Don’t Have Broadband

It’s interesting reading some of the “press” (aka twitter / podcasts / opinion) about the new Apple iPhone launch and how they decry the lack of 5G capability. Clearly these authors live inside the safe little cocoons of tech futures courtesy of the vendors. In other words they don’t live in the practical world of most people.

I’ve been travelling around and (particularly in England) you’re lucky to get 3G at best outside of the city centres. Often any coverage is poor. If I remember correctly 4G should be universal a few years ago.

So, guys start writing your articles when in a village outside of the inner circles of London or SF. – It may take a wee bit longer and be more relevant to most people
