But not quite this hot. It was a short day – distance wise – but a couple of times I just found myself some shade and lay down on the grass, all the while pretending it was so I could contemplate nature and not that I was hot and tiring.
Anyway, found myself another fav town. – Dinan – it was meant to be a convenient place to stay before going on to Saint-Malo. But.. it’s a lovely medieval city and cos I decided on a bit luxury , aka a hotel room, I was able to explore the town. Who knows I might just stay an extra day and rest the legs.

Try cycling up it on cobbles in 30 C heat after 70 kms. It’s a good way to test your meddle.
